Airmen “Roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life”
U. S. Air Force Maj. Paul Kurts, 145th Airlift Wing, Public Affairs Officer, donates blood inside the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas mobile unit, during a blood drive held at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport, April 18, 2015. The blood donated by airmen at CBCC stays in the community helping patients in local hospitals. Donating one pint takes an hour or less, and in the end one walks away having saved up to three lives. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Patricia F. Moran, 145th Public Affairs/Released)
