145th Airlift Wing delivers “Souper Bowl” to local community
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Noah Burgess, Tech. Sgt. Dennis Puckett, Senior Master Sgts. Johnathan Stallings and Sharon Fowler, all members of the 145th Mission Support Group, and Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Debra Kidd, chaplain, 145th Airlift Wing (AW), and Col. Marshall Collins, commander, 145th AW, carry containers filled with non-perishable food to a waiting van at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Feb. 12, 2016. During February’s Unit Training Assembly, Airmen celebrated the Carolina Panthers and Super Bowl Sunday by participating in “Souper” Bowl. “Souper Bowl of Caring” utilizes Super Bowl weekend to rally people together in an effort to help fight hunger and poverty in their local communities.
