156th Airlift Squadron C-130 Pilot Promoted to Maj.
U.S. Air Force Capt. Mathiew Witte, a C-130H Hercules aircraft pilot for the 156th Airlift Squadron, is ceremoniously pinned to the rank of Major by his wife Elizabeth, son Benjamin and pilot, Lt. Col. Bradley Holbrooks, 156th AS, during a promotion ceremony held at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. airport, August 2, 2014. Witte has been a part of the NCANG since 1999 when he enlisted as a crew chief until his commission in 2005 as a pilot.
