Exercise Proves 145th Airlift Wing is an "Always Ready Team"
U.S. Air Force Col. Thomas W. Brown, Jr., 145th Airlift Wing, Air Operations Officer, Lt. Col. Miles K. Harkey, commander, 145th Operations Support Squadron and 1st Lt. Michael V. Nix, 145th Maintenance Squadron, all members of the Wing Inspection Team (WIT), review the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) prior to the Anti-Terrorism Exercise held Nov. 1, 2014, at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport. The annual Anti-Terrorism Exercise simulated a car-bomb detonation inside the perimeter of the air base. The exercise initiated force protection measures across the base and tested the Wing’s ability to respond accordingly. After the car-bomb detonation, Airmen also performed simulated search and recovery procedures. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Patricia F. Moran, 145th Public Affairs/Released)
