Carolina Panthers host Military Appreciation Day

Spartanburg, S.C. -- Senior Airman Chad Wheeler of the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard, meets Steve Smith, wide reciever for the Carolina Panthers during a USO Military appreciation day at the Panthers training camp at Wofford College, S.C. Wheeler and several other military members from the Guard and Reserve in the Charlotte area, recieved an afternoon to watch the Panthers practice, autograph memoribilia, and to have dinner with several of the football players. Chief Master Sgt. Drost Biography

Chief Master Sergeant Kevin C. Drost is the Chief Enlisted Manager and Program Analyst for the 245th Civil Engineer Flight Staff Augmentation Team (S-Team), Charlotte, North Carolina. He acts as the sole full-time focal point for the commissioned and enlisted members of the unit. Chief Drost assists the Commander in strategic planning, resource management and execution, and ensuring the deployment-readiness of the Flight which provides domestic and international engineering and planning support.

CMSgt Huneycutt receives Mishap-Free Flying Hours Milestone Award

Chief Master Sgt. Andrew Huneycutt, 145th Operations Support Squadron (OSS) chief loadmaster, earned the 12,500 Mishap-Free Flying Hour Milestone Award which culminates his 36 year career and dedication to standards at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, June 5, 2016. Huneycutt joined the North Carolina Air National Guard in January of 1980 and has spent his entire career as a loadmaster on the C-130 Hercules aircraft. He now provides leadership and management of the 156th Airlift Squadron and 145th OSS flying and ground training programs which ensures operational readiness of its members.
