Students and families of Badin Elementary School (B.E.S.) wait in line to meet with a volunteer Santa during Operation Santa held at B.E.S., Badin, N.C., Dec. 14th, 2019. Operation Santa is an annual event run by the Chapter 7 organization of the North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) which chooses select schools to provide assistance to families during the holiday season. This year, the NCANG provided presents, lunch, music, bouncy castles and a Santa. The NCANG also partnered with the local Target for food donations.
