North Carolina Vigilant Catamount 2017

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Mark Fow an emergency manager for the 145th Airlift Wing briefs officers of the Tennessee Valley Authority on the functions and utility of the Mobile Emergency Operations Center while at Fontana Dam North Carolina, June 10, 2017. Vigilant Catamount is a multi-day exercise testing emergency response, with Fontana Dam being the subject of a bomb threat requiring action by the National Guard and local authorities to include the Tennessee Valley Authority. The Mobile Emergency Operations Center is run by the 145th Airlift Wing and provides a self-sufficient mobile power, and communications network on the go.
