North Carolina Vigilant Catamount 2017
Three fire fighters with the North Carolina Nation Guard's Army and Air Force firefighting team walk away from the site of a simulated fire while at Vigilant Catamount, an interagency domestic exercise between local, state, and military personnel in North Carolina, at Dupont State Forest, Hendersonville North Carolina, June 8, 2017. Vigilant Catamount is a multi-day exercise testing emergency response, starting with the simulated crash of an F-15 aircraft. The fire fighters helped to extinguish two burning vehicles set ablaze to test military emergency firefighting capabilities.
