Nathan Barron, 156th Airlift Squadron, wheels his twins down the unit hall before a ceremony to honor his heroic actions as a civilian pilot with PSA Airlines, North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, April 1, 2017. Barron acted decisively and courageously by tackling and maneuvering an unruly passenger to the ground after he assaulted a flight attendant. Barron continued to subdue the passenger until law enforcement arrived which saved the lives of the crew as well as others aboard the plane.

Ch. Floretta Watkins, Deputy Wing Chaplain of the 145th AW/HC Air National Guard. I have served in this position since about 2014 ( When Ch. Kidd became the Wing Chaplain, I became the Deputy) I am very close to retirement. I have been in the ANG for 19 years 9 months (but who’s counting).
