145th Maintenance Squadron promotes 1st female crew chief
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Lisa Phillips, 145th Maintenance Operation Flight, is promoted to the rank of senior master sergeant by family members during a ceremony held at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Dec. 5, 2015. Phillips enlisted in Sept. 1997 as the first female crew chief for the 145th MXS. She broke down barriers for women in the maintenance career field and set the standard for excellence.
