Gregory Trantham, 145th Maintenance Squadron, receives Meritorious Service Medal for his role as the maintenance systems Chief Enlisted manager, as well as a North Carolina Meritorious Service Medal for his 36 years of service during a ramp formation held at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport May 3, 2015. A ramp formation is when units assigned to the 145th Airlift Wing form up quarterly to honor award winners and medal recipients. It also gives U.S. Air Force Col.
