145th Operations Group observes promotion and change of command

U.S. Air Force Col. Marshall C. Collins, commander, 145th Airlift Wing, receives guidon from outgoing commander, Col. Charles D. Davis III as he relinquishes command of the 145th Operations Group, during a change of command ceremony held at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport; June 6, 2015. Davis, who enlisted in the military July 1977 as a Weapons Mechanic for the Arizona Air National Guard, was commissioned through the Academy of Military Science, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville, Tenn., in 1985.
