Joint communication "Train like we fight"

Members from the 263rd Combat Communication Squadron hosted more than 50 active duty, reserve and National Guard airmen during joint training exercises held March 2015 at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Combat Operations Group, New London, N.C. During these total force exercises satellite antennas are used in various capacities to perform Electromagnetic Interference dogfights. Communication is the life-blood of any natural disaster, crisis or conflict. By working closely with satellite controllers, 263rd personnel were able to recognize the jamming and restore the communications mission assigned to them. Nearly 37,000 Sailors, Marines and Airmen were supported during three U.S. Strategic Command and U.S. Navy exercises. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Patricia F.
