Chiefs, First Sergeants and Senior Enlisted airmen served up eggs, sausage, biscuits and grits, fresh fruit and naturally, strong coffee, during the 19th Annual Retiree Breakfast. This annual tradition, held at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport, October 3, 2014, is hosted by the 145th Airlift Wing’s Chiefs’ Council to honor retired men and women who have served in the North Carolina Air National Guard. Military service is known for building camaraderie amongst servicemen and women, a fact evident by the attendance of more than 475 veterans’ that participated in this year’s retiree breakfast.
