North Carolina Air National Guard; Stays Aware - Always Prepared
145th Airlift Wing held a Natural Disaster Table Top Exercise at the North Carolina Air National Guard, Fire Station 41, Charlotte, N.C. on April 6, 2014. This exercise discussed wing actions that would need to take place if the base were hit with a tornado or other natural disasters. Training for real-life events is a must. The Crisis Action Team and the Emergency Operations Center have open forum walk thru “discussions” on how they will response to a natural disaster on base or in the community.
