145th CES supports community as renovations begin on 2nd Tarheel ChalleNGe site
Members of the 156th Civil Engineer Squadron, Puerto Rico National Guard, get valuable training while removing ceiling and interior partition walls from abandoned school, April 13, 2014, in New London, N.C. The school campus is being renovated and transform into a 2nd Tarheel ChalleNGe site scheduled to open May 2015. Tarheel ChalleNGe is a quasi-military style program that helps teens, ages 16 to 18, get their GED and develop life coping skills to prepare them for future employment or further education endeavors.
