Tied by Yellow Ribbon, NCANG and SCANG Host Joint Event
U.S. Air Force Col. Roger E. Williams Jr., commander, 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard, talks with a representative from Military Education Services after welcoming airmen and their families to the first ever North and South Carolina ANG joint Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program event. During deployments, the member is gone and focused on their mission. Through the support of the Wing Commander and the YR Program, Airman can be assured that their families are taken care of while they are away. During this one-day event, Airmen learn about entitlements and what is available for their families in the member's absence. This YR event was held Charlotte, N.C., November 16, 2013.
