Seven C-119J Packet "Flying Boxcar" aircraft were flown by 145th Air Medical Group, 156th Aeromedical Transport Squadron from 31 Jan 1961 - 19 Dec 1962. This plane was used to train the pilots as they made the change from jet to propeller aircraft. (Photo by NCANG Heritage Program)
