156th Airlift Squadron C-130 Pilot Promoted to Maj.
U.S. Air Force Capt. Busch Voigts, a C-130H Hercules aircraft pilot for the 156th Airlift Squadron, is ceremoniously pinned to the rank of Major by his wife Kelly, son Busch IV and Lt. Col. Bradley Holbrooks, a pilot for the 156th AS, during a promotion ceremony held at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. airport, August 2, 2014. Voigts currently serves as the Unit Standards and Evaluation liaison officer responsible for all aircrew flight and ground evaluations and testing, and has logged approximately 8,000 flight hours so far in his military aviation career. In Voigts’ civilian position with Delta Airlines, he serves as a first officer for a premier international part 121 scheduled passenger airline. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt.
