National Disaster Medical System at the 145th Airlift Wing
Charlotte, N.C. Chief Master Sgt Jeff Cook answers questions asked by the local media before a National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) regional exercise begins at the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard. Chief Cook is the base fire chief, and is working hand in hand with the Charlotte city Fire Fighters. More than a two dozen city, state, and federal agencies worked together during the day long exercise at the Charlotte Air Guard base simulating over 100 evacuees arriving for medical care.
