North Carolina Air Guardsman receives Red Cross award
Brig. Gen. Tony McMillan, commander, 145th Airlift Wing, congratulates Master Sgt. Robert C. Ritchie of the 118th Air Support Operations Squadron, North Carolina Air National Guard for being awarded the American Red Cross Certificate of Recognition for Extraordinary Personal Action by Tim Patton of the Carolina Piedmont Region of the American Red Cross. In early March Ritchie provided medical attention to a woman pinned between a vehicle and a wall. The Certificate of Recognition for Extraordinary Personal Action is one of the highest awards given by the American Red Cross.
