Wooten receives recognition at Hometown Heroes ceremony.

Senior Master Sgt. Donnie Wooten, a member of the 156th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, receives recognition and appreciation from Colonel Roger E. Williams, Jr., 145th Airlift Wing Commander and Command Chief Master Sergeant Maurice Williams during an official Air National Guard ceremony known as the Hometown Heroes Salute. Each airman who served 30 or more days away from home throughout operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and New Dawn is awarded a framed Hometown Heroes Salute Coin with a Letter of Appreciation signed by the ANG Director and Command Chief Master Sergeant, and a Pen & Pencil Set for their spouse or significant other.
