145th AW/CES Receives National Awards
On May 16, 2013, Air Force Col. Peter “Puck” Sartori, Director of Installations and Mission Support and The Civil Engineer for the Air National Guard at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, visited the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard base to present the Colonel William L. Deneke Award, National Guard Bureau/A7 Outstanding Unit of the Year, to Chief Master Sgt. Tom Hunsucker, Regional Training Site Enlisted Manager for the 145th Civil Engineering Squadron. This annual award is in recognition of the most outstanding CE Air Reserve Component unit. The criteria to be honored with this award are showing the greatest achievement and exemplary performance in Expeditionary Engineering, Installation Engineering, Environmental Leadership, Emergency Service and Training Excellence.
