The 145th CES coordinated with the Charlotte Fire Department and other local authorities to simulate an aircraft mishap and what steps to handle in the event of such a disaster. This is the first exercise of this kind since the 1990s involving many moving parts including local fire departments, Emergency Management and the 145th Airlift Wing.
