CMSgt Tracie B. Rankin is the Wing Command Chief of the North Carolina Air National Guard in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the Senior Enlisted Leader to the Commander of the 145th Airlift Wing and is responsible for the mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, utilization, morale, and health and welfare of the unit’s enlisted members.
Chief Rankin enlisted in the Air National Guard in 1997 and graduated the Supply Management Apprentice course in May 1998 from Lackland AFB, Texas. Her experience includes duties in multiple Logistics Readiness functions to include Quality Assurance, Mission Support Group First Sergeant, Inspector General Superintendent, and Force Development Superintendent.
Prior to assuming her current position, Chief Rankin was the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 145th Force Support Squadron. Her leadership, experience, and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the unit and its mission.
She has been married to her husband Cliff for over 25 years, and they have one daughter, Colbie.
