Col G. SCOTT NALL, P.E.

Colonel Scott Nall is the 245th Civil Engineer Flight
Commander a n d i s responsible for the strategic future
of the unit and to ensure the unit provides timely and
proactive support to United States Air Forces Europe/Air
Forces Africa and Africa Command. In his career, he has
served in two Air National Guard, Staff Augmentation
teams (S-Teams), the first being located in St. Louis,
Missouri. He has served around the world during his
career to include such locations as South Korea, Japan,
Germany, Spain, Qatar, Afghanistan, Djibouti, and
Oman.
Col Nall was activated after the 9-11 terrorist attacks and
spent a year on active duty at Scott Air Force Base,
Illinois in support of Operation Nobel Eagle. During that
time he was instrumental in sourcing and deploying Air
Force assets to the Persian Gulf region. Following that
assignment, he deployed to Bagram Air Base,
Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom
where he was the theater aviation engineer. In that role
he was directly responsible or the planning, design and
construction of several airfields in the region.
In August 2013 Col Nall volunteered and deployed to Al Udeid , Air Base, Qatar where he served as
the Officer in Charge of all Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) projects for the Persian Gulf
region. In that role, he was responsible for a staff of over a dozen officers and civilians in eight
counties and 10 bases overseeing 156 projects. In recognition of his efforts on this deployment, Col
Nall was awarded his third Meritorious Service Medal. Col Nall served on staff at USAFE/Air Forces
Africa, Ramstein Air Base in 2014 as the first Program Manager for the European Infrastructure
Consolidation (EIC) program, a $1.5B effort to realign US forces in Europe.
