NCANG encourages airmen to be environmental stewards

Games for children, Frisbees for dogs and rain gauges for adults were made available to members of the 145th Airlift Wing, during Environmental Education Day held at the North Carolina Air National Guard base, Charlotte Douglas Intl. Airport, April 18, 2015. All these items were educational but also made it fun for the whole family to learn to recycle, conserve water and energy. Several agencies participating in community programs relating to recycling, water quality and environmental restoration attended the event. Members were given the opportunity to learn more about local environmental initiatives within the community, at home and at work. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Patricia F.
