Chief Master Sergeant Victor Scott Brawley is the Superintendent of the 145th Maintenance Group, North Carolina Air National Guard, 145th Airlift Wing, located at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Charlotte, North Carolina. Chief Master Sergeant Brawley serves as the principle advisor to the commander on the matters affecting the health and readiness of the 250 enlisted force members within the group. He provides leadership, management of resources, interprets and enforces policies and directives for the group to meet home station and expeditionary mission requirements.
Chief Brawley enlisted in the North Carolina Air National Guard in August 1983 as an Airlift Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. For over 33 years, Chief Brawley has held many positions in the NCANG.

His first assignment was in the 145th Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as assistance crew chief on C-130B model aircraft. After two years as a Traditional Guardsmen in 1986 he was selected for a full-time position in the Isochronal Inspection Dock. He was later assigned to the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron in 1989 as crew chief of C-130B model aircraft 61-2640. Then in 1994 was part of the 145th AW’s conversion to the new C-130H-3 aircraft as crew chief of tail number 93-1458. In 1998 after serving several years as a crew chief was selected to the Flight Chief position within the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. His first assignment to the Superintendent level was in 2006 in the Maintenance Operations Flight, there he was responsible for the staff functions of the flight and assisting Maintenance Commanders with supporting, scheduling and executing maintenance plans to meet the mission needs of the Maintenance Group. Chief Brawley was selected to his current position in 2015 as the Maintenance Group Superintendent and in the full-time position as the Quality Assurance Supervisor for the Maintenance Group.
