tabPilot Training 
The 145th Airlift Wing and the 156th Airlift Squadron are projecting an opening for undergraduate pilot training (UPT). This position is open for all commissioned officers or those eligible for a commission in the ANG. All interested applicants need to forward the following complete application package to: HQ, NCANG/MPR, SMSgt Deborah A. Dunlap, 4930 Minute Man Way, Charlotte, NC 28208-3866. A cover letter, current resume, certified official copies of your college transcripts (Bachelors), Flight records or certifications, SF Form 86 Electronic Personnel Security Questionnaire, copies of your birth certificate, Social Security Number and drivers license, AF Form 24 Application for Appointment, letters of recommendation (No more than five) and your AFOQT scores. All packages that do not include these documents will not be considered.
tabNavigator Training

Up to $4500 a year for tuition and books if you attend Colleges or Universities in the state of North Carolina.
tabGroup Insurance 
Group life insurance coverage up to $50,000 for unit members, $25,000 for Spouses and $10,000 for each child thru the NC National Guard Association.

Expenses paid while on state duty, field training or in drill status.

Military retired pay exempt.
tabMiscellaneous 
Members and their families who are not eligible for group medical coverage can participate in medical plan along with teachers and state empl. State empl: 15 days mil leave/yr. State retirement benefit: $150 a month with 20 to 30 years service.
