MAFFS Training

Greenville, SC (April 26, 2010) – Aircrews from the 146th Air Expeditionary Group (part of a unified military support effort of U.S. Northern Command to provide assistance to the U.S. Forest Service, state and local agencies, and the National Interagency Fire Center in battling large, uncontrolled wildfires throughout the nation) work with Air traffic controllers, lead pilots and maintenance crews to deliver retardant to fire-damaged areas.
