145th AW/CES Receives National Awards

On May 16, 2013, Air Force Col. Peter “Puck” Sartori, Director of Installations and Mission Support and The Civil Engineer for the Air National Guard at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, visited the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard base to present the Air Force Outstanding Unit of the Year, Society of America Military Engineers Curtain Award, to Lt. Col. Greg Walters, commander, 145th Civil Engineering Squadron. This award is given as recognition of being chosen the most outstanding Air Force Civil Engineer unit for 2012, an award that recognizes the best CE squadron from all Air Reserve components in the United States that best demonstrates exemplary performance in support of the engineer readiness mission.
